Although still only 18 years of age, Anthony Burgess is already well known and respected in the world of Freestyle jet-skiing.

Whilst he now competes at a professional level, he is still employed as an Apprentice plumber, attending College on a day release basis. His employers are extremely flexible with his various commitments and have fully supported his efforts to date.

His attitude and commitment are exemplary for a person his age. He is committed to both his riding and ensuring any supporters appreciate what he stands for and how he conducts himself. This is a major asset to any potential sponsor.

Highlights to date:

• 2002 Started Jet-skiing at age 12 on Father’s Stand-up Ski.
• 2003 Entered first Jet ski Competition (Freestyle National Tour (FNT)) and finished 5th in Amateur class.
• 2004 Entered JSRA British Championships and became Junior Champion, and finished 3rd in FNT Open Class.
• 2005 Runner up in JSRA British Championship and became FNT Open Class Champion.
• 2006 Won JSRA British Amateur Championship.
• 2006 Won IJSBA World Championship Amateur and gained 3rd place in Pro class.
• 2007 Won JSRA British Pro Championship.
  2007 EJSBA European Championship Vice Champion.
  2007 IJSBA World Pro Championship 3rd Place
• 2008 Won JSRA British Pro Championship.
  2008 IJSBA World Pro Championship 2nd Place
